How often should a WordPress website be backed up?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For a website that changes often or an online store, a daily backup is recommended, stored off the server itself and checked to make sure it can be restored. It depends on your website. A store with daily orders needs daily backups; a website that rarely changes, weekly ones. I tailor it to your case.<\/p><\/details>\n

Off your server, in external storage, so they remain available even if the hosting fails or gets infected.<\/p><\/details>\n

How long does it take you to restore the website?<\/summary>

It depends on the size, but it’s fast. With a maintenance plan you get priority.<\/p><\/details>\n

Do backups protect me against a hack?<\/summary>

They help a lot: they let you roll back to a clean state. But they should be combined with security and cleanup so you don’t restore the infection too.<\/p><\/details>\n

Is this included in the maintenance plans?<\/summary>
